Complimentary to ticket-holders of Minimalism: Space. Light. Object.
Working collaboratively, LASALLE College of the Arts Diploma in Fashion students responded to and created costumes in conversation with choreographic explorations of Diploma in Dance students. Taking the concept of ‘folding’ as a starting point and expanding it through the technique of origami, the students rooted the performances with the visual, sensorial and kinetic embodiment of the designs, inspired by the theme of ‘Minimalism’.
Enfold is presented in collaboration with LASALLE College of the Arts as part of the performance season for Minimalism: Space. Light. Object. The exhibition marks a first-time collaboration between ArtScience Museum and National Gallery Singapore. Over 150 works of art – many being shown in Singapore for the first time – are set across the two sites exploring the history and legacy of this groundbreaking art movement. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, both venues will host music, film and dance events, showcasing the impact Minimalism has had on many other art forms.
